Daniela

Daniela Norwood, DPT
Clinic Director
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Daniela Norwood earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA after completing her undergraduate degree from San Diego State and Masters at Point Loma Nazarene University. Her interest in physical therapy sparked after rehabilitating from her own injuries while playing soccer in high school. She enjoys treating a wide variety of patients to return to the activities they love, specifically with knee, ankle and foot injuries. She combines her skills in manual therapy with exercises tailored towards each individual’s goals. Outside of the clinic, she can be found exploring around the city with her husband and golden retriever Louie, running, cooking and traveling.
 

Sarah Gassama
Sarah Gassama

PT Aide

Sarah is the physical therapy aide at the SF FiDi location. She earned her Bachelor's Degree at UC Davis in Global Disease Biology. She loves to learn and did an independent research project on the seroprevalence of Anaplasmosis in Cattle under the supervision of a Veterinarian. She has also worked in the Emergency Room as a scribe. After injuring her knees playing tennis in college, she has developed an interest in physical therapy and sports medicine. Outside of work, you can find Sarah learning new recipes, swimming, or riding her bike.

Ryan Fitzgerald
Ryan Fitzgerald

Office Administrator

Ryan is the Office Administrator at the SF FiDi location. He earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Oregon State University. During his time at Oregon State he worked in an adaptive exercise clinic working one on one with individuals with parkinson’s. He has also worked as an aide in multiple physical therapy settings. He has always been interested in Physical Therapy and is excited to learn the administrative side to how a PT clinic is run. Outside of work you can find Ryan fishing, watching sports, or hanging out with friends. Ryan is excited to bring you a great experience here at GSPORTS PT.

Jenesis Imai
Jenesis Imai

Practice Administrator

Jenesis Imai is the Practice Administrator for GSPORTS and works behind the scenes to make your experience better. Jenesis is always happy to discuss your insurance or billing questions. She is originally from Hawaii and obtained a Master of Arts in Social Psychology at San Francisco State University in 2016. In her free time, Jenesis indulges in her plethora of interests by hiking to and photographing breathtaking scenery, drinking craft beer, swing dancing, and crafting.

Michael Ng
Michael Ng, DPT, MFDc

Clinic Director
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Michael Ng is the Clinic Director of our SF SOMA office. He specializes in the rehabilitation of sports injuries of the shoulder, neck, knee, and foot. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from UCSF and San Francisco State University. Dr. Ng was also a member of the Wellness Team for the U.S. Open 2012 Golf Championships. He enjoys treating patients through the hands-on application of manual therapy techniques as an effective adjunct to customized therapeutic exercises. He has been certified in Active Release Technique (ART), which is effective in correcting overuse injuries in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Dr. Ng enjoys helping athletes recover from throwing, swimming, volleyball, and running injuries. He also teaches continuing education for physical therapists in the application of Myofascial Decompression. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2008.

Daniel Fok

Daniel Fok, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy 

Dr. Daniel Fok earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UCSF and San Francisco State University. Before that, he graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA with a B.S. in Health Sciences and a minor in biology. While exploring careers in undergrad, he completed various internships in dentistry, medicine, and optometry, but discovered physical therapy to be a perfect fit because of the collective time a PT is able to spend working with patients and because of his interests in conservative treatment and health & wellness. Combining his fascination with the human body, background in exercise, training in the biopsychosocial model of treatment, interest in manual therapy, and passion for people, Dr. Fok enjoys personalizing a treatment plan to not only ensure holistic recovery but also long-term resilience. When not in the clinic, Daniel enjoys running, hiking, reading, cooking, and playing piano. He also enjoys participating in a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, Spikeball, and ultimate frisbee.

Melinda Louie

Melinda Louie
Office Administrator 

Melinda is the Office Administrator at our SF SoMa clinic. She grew up in Santa Clara and recently moved to San Francisco after getting married. Her background includes teaching grades K-8 for several years, and office administration in different settings including the library, after school enrichment, and parks & recreation. She is a true Bruin Bear, graduating with a BA in Psychology at UCLA and a MA in Education at UC Berkeley. In her free time, Melinda enjoys spending time with people including her hubby and friends, exploring the local area especially places with nice walking hikes, and cooking. Melinda is excited to join the GSPORTS family and is looking to help make your experience at GSPORTS SoMa a pleasant one!

Patrick Gee

Patrick Gee, DPT, CMP
President and Founder
Clinic Director
Doctor of Physical Therapy 

Dr. Patrick Gee founded G Sports Physical Therapy, Inc. to assemble the best sports and orthopedic physical therapists in the San Francisco Bay Area. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University and specializes in the rehabilitation of sports injuries of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and complex conditions of the spine. Dr. Gee was a member of the Wellness Team for the U.S. Open 2012 Golf Championships. He has over 10 years of experience helping injured rock climbers, mountain bikers, tennis players, and golfers return to their sports successfully. Dr. Gee is currently only one of four physical therapists to achieve the Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) status in San Francisco; a highly skilled manual therapy concept to relieve pain and restore motion of any joint in the body. He has been a clinical instructor for physical therapy students from UCSF, UOP, USC, Columbia University, and Samuel Merritt University. Dr. Gee has also been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2001.

Justin Jellin

Justin Jellin, DPT, ART
Marketing Lead
Doctor of Physical Therapy 

Dr. Justin Jellin earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at University of the Pacific, in addition to an undergraduate degree in Sports Sciences. He has a special interest in treating athletes involved in running, skiing, and crew. Whether it is low back pain, ankle instability, or baby boomer generation injuries, Dr. Jellin enjoys helping all athletes return to their pre-injury level of performance. He has been certified in Active Release Technique (ART), which is very effective in correcting overuse injuries in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Dr. Jellin was a practical examiner at UOP and continues his involvement on the University Alumni Board. Outside of clinical practice, he is an accomplished musician in both classical trumpet and guitar. Dr. Jellin has been a member of the APTA since 2010.

Antonio Fields

Antonio Fields, DPT, MPH
Doctor of Physical Therapy 

Dr. Antonio A. FIelds earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University, in addition to a Master's of Public Health degree in Environmental and Occupational Health, and Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Fort Valley State University. Dr. Fields has been a member of the APTA since 2020. He has a passion for learning and applying rehab techniques supported by evidence-based practice to return patients to maximum performance. He has worked with various patient demographics in outpatient orthopedic clinics, home health, skilled nursing, independent living, and assisted living. His biggest joy in patient care is helping individuals return to the activities they love. Outside of clinical practice, he spends time weightlifting, hiking, jogging, and rock climbing.

Guadalupe Medina

Guadalupe Medina, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy 

Dr. Guadalupe Medina earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of San Francisco, where she was a collegiate track & field athlete. Her interest in physical therapy sparked after rehabilitating from her own injuries. She enjoys treating a wide array of patients, helping them return to their activities and prior level of function. Outside of the clinic, she can be found exploring new food spots in the East Bay, hiking, playing tennis, and cooking.

Kyle Troll

Kyle Troll
PT Aide 

Kyle grew up in the Berkeley and graduated from University of California at Santa Cruz in 2022, where he majored in Human Biology. His own experience with Physical Therapy as a youth furthers his desire to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. In his free time, he loves hacky-sacking, baking, biking, and spending time with his two cats. Here at GSPORTS, Kyle hopes to engage and encourage patients to meet and surpass their goals, while having fun.

Claire Broadman

Claire Broadman

Claire grew up in Humboldt County, California and loves to explore the Redwoods and tidepools in the surrounding areas. She graduated from UC Davis in 2023 with a B.S. in Human Biology. Her participation in various sports has inspired her fascination with using movement to heal the body and ensuring every patient is able to pursue the activities they want to achieve. Claire is excited to be a part of the GSPORTS team to gain experience and learn more about physical therapy and everything it entails. In her free time, she likes to work out, find breath-taking views, watch her fish and cats, and spend quality time with those she cares about.

Vivian Vu

Vivian Vu
Office Administrator 

Vivian is our Office Administrator at our Berkeley Clinic. She moved to Berkeley from Atlanta to complete her Masters Degree in Molecular Toxicology. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors in Biology and has prior experience working as a Medical Assistant. She enjoys helping people and learning how physical therapy has an impact on improving the quality of daily life. When she is not busy at work or school she likes going on cute little picnics, visiting museums, walking through the botanical garden or on the beach, and reading a nice book under the sun.
